United States Attorney Moore Capito will hold a press conference on July 27 following the preliminary-detention hearing in the case of USA vs. David Elliott Pritt. The event is scheduled to take place with law enforcement partners at the Robert C. Byrd U.S. Courthouse in Charleston.

The press conference will occur after the 3:30 p.m. hearing on the fifth floor of the courthouse. According to information released by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia, cameras and other recording devices are not permitted inside the courtroom due to U.S. District Court policy.

Media representatives attending are required to set up in advance of the hearing and will be escorted to and from the fifth floor for security and logistical reasons.
