Temporary road closure at Canyon Ferry Dam will facilitate required repairs

News Release: HELENA, Mont. - Access across Canyon Ferry Dam on Montana State Highway 284, at both sides of the dam, will be closed to traffic Sept. 26-29, from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m. each day. The temporary road closure will allow Reclamation to safely conduct operations necessary to complete project work on the dam infrastructure.

News Release: Fruita, CO - The staff at Colorado National Monument is saddened to report that last night a vehicle left Rim Rock Drive near the Coke Ovens Overlook. The 911 call came in at approximately 10:20pm. There were two individuals in the vehicle. The 28-year-old male was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. The 28-year-old female was found deceased at the scene. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Jeri DeYoung selected as superintendent of Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail
