News Release: CRAIG, Colo - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking public input on a proposed Emerald Mountain Good Neighbor Authority project near Steamboat Spring, CO. The project consists of potential timber salvage and hazard reduction activities on approximately 550 acres in the 4,500-acre Emerald Mountain Special Recreation Management Area.

BLM plans prescribed burn to benefit wildlife at Warner Wetlands

News Release: LAKEVIEW, Ore. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lakeview District, in conjunction with the South Central Oregon Fire Management Partnership, is preparing to conduct a prescribed burn at Warner Wetlands, approximately five miles northeast of Plush, Oregon. Depending on weather and fuel moisture conditions, the prescribed burn could begin on February 6. Approximately 274 acres of BLM land will be treated to improve waterfowl habitat.
