News Release: WORLAND, Wyo. - Due to dry conditions and high fire danger, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions will begin July 28 on public lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management Wind River/Bighorn Basin District’s Cody, Lander and Worland field offices in Big Horn, Carbon, Fremont, Hot Springs, Natrona, Park, Sweetwater and Washakie counties.

News Release: WEST GLACIER, Mont. [July 25, 2022] - A search and rescue underway in Glacier National Park for two local men reported overdue from a climb on Dusty Star Mountain ended this morning when Minuteman Aviation located the bodies of the two deceased climbers.

News Release: TAOS, N.M. -The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) welcomes Eric Valencia as the Monument Manager for the Río Grande del Norte National Monument, located within the BLM Taos Field Office. Valencia will oversee 245,290 acres of multiple-use public lands within the monument that spans across Taos and Rio Arriba counties. The Taos Field Office is in the process of developing a Resource Management Plan for the monument and Valencia will assist in coordinating that effort.
