News Release: BOULDER CITY, Nevada - National Park Service rangers received a witness report of human remains discovered at Swim Beach in Lake Mead National Recreation Area at approximately 4:30 p.m. PST on Monday, July 25.

While fire lookouts spotted the Long Fire and Moccasin Fire, an air attack plane spotted the third, the Soda Fire, with an infra-red camera on the return flight from mapping the Long Fire. The Long Fire, the largest of the three fires, was mapped at 24 acres Friday evening.
