BLM lifts Phoenix District fire restrictions
News Release: PHOENIX - Effective Friday, July 22, the Bureau of Land Management will lift all fire restrictions for public lands administered by the Phoenix District, including the Lower Sonoran Field Office and Hassayampa Field Office. Due to widespread precipitation across the area, additional rain in the weather forecast, and a rise in fuel moistures, it has been determined that the likelihood of wildfire has lessened to the degree that the restrictions can be rescinded.

Partnership Improves Sections of Teton Crest Trail
News Release: MOOSE, WY- Grand Teton National Park in partnership with the Grand Teton National Park Foundation are in their third year working to improve sections of the Teton Crest Trail. There will be intermittent 30-minute closures on a section of the trail near the summit of Paintbrush Divide between July 21-26, August 4-9, and August 18-23. Visitors planning on hiking over Paintbrush Divide during these dates should expect delays in both directions.

Campfire Restrictions Effective on Wild Portion of Lower Rogue River Beginning July 22
News Release: SW Oregon - As the weather continues to trend towards warming and drying, officials with the Bureau of Land Management Medford District, Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest and Oregon Department of Forestry Southwest Oregon District are prohibiting campfire use on those lands located within the boundaries of the Wild section of the Rogue National Wild and Scenic River. The Wild section flows from Grave Creek to the mouth of Watson Creek.
