Updated Greenbrier temporary closures
News Release: Great Smoky Mountains National Park officials reopened limited access to the Greenbrier area of the park. The first half mile of the Greenbrier entrance road is now open to motorists, which allows access to a couple of parking areas. Pedestrians and cyclists are allowed to use 2.5 miles of roadway beyond this point to the intersection with Ramsey Prong Road. Pedestrians and cyclists are not allowed beyond this point due to unsafe road conditions.
