TSA expecting higher passenger volumes in August at Boston Logan International Airport

Release: BOSTON The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is prepared for a busy August. TSA officers at BOS have been screening more than 60,000 people a day and TSA anticipates those screening numbers will continue throughout the month August. Current passenger screening numbers at BOS are only about 85 percent of what TSA saw in the summer of 2019, however, passengers should be prepared for large crowds during peak travel times.

FEMA Awards Funds for Dollar Ridge Wildfire Response

News Release: DENVER - FEMA has awarded $4.1 million to the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands to cover costs of fighting the Dollar Ridge wildfire that impacted north-central Utah in July of 2018. The funds are provided by FEMA’s Public Assistance program under a Fire Management Assistance declaration for Utah issued on July 2, 2018, in response to the wildfire.

Eight Municipalities Receive Multimillion Dollar Assignment for Safe Rooms Against Hurricanes
