NPS Advises Visitors to Use Caution with Fire Use Over Fourth of July Holiday

News Release: Denali National Park and Preserve officials are asking visitors to be especially cautious with fire during this week's holiday period. Campfires are permitted in the fire grates in some of the park’s campgrounds but should be completely extinguished after use. Campfires may not be left unattended for even a short period of time. Fires are not permitted in the backcountry areas of the original Mount McKinley National Park that are designated as wilderness.
