All Roads in Yosemite National Park to Remain Closed Through the Evening

News Release: All roads leading into Yosemite Valley will remain closed through this evening, Friday, Jan. 22, due to snow, ice, and fallen trees. Road closures include Highways 41 (Wawona Road), 120 (Big Oak Flat Road), and 140 (El Portal Road). Additionally, the Badger Pass Road and the Hetch Hetchy Road will also remain closed.


Hurricane Ridge Road Contract Awarded Today to Port Angeles-based Bruch & Bruch; Work Already Underway

News Release: This morning, the National Park Service awarded a contract to repair the Hurricane Ridge Road landslide to Port Angeles contractor Bruch & Bruch Construction Incorporated. Bruch & Bruch employees have already begun to move equipment to the landslide site just north of the Heart O’the Hills entrance station and will begin repair work as soon equipment and materials are in place.

Yosemite National Park Temporarily Closes All Roads

News Release: All roads leading into Yosemite Valley are temporarily closed due to snow, ice, and fallen trees. Highways 41 (Wawona Road) and 120 (Big Oak Flat Road) into Yosemite National Park are closed at this time due to snowy and icy conditions. Additionally, Highway 140 (El Portal Road) into Yosemite Valley is temporarily closed due to fallen trees on the roadway.
