BODY OF MISSING HOBART MAN FOUND AT INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE’S INLAND MA

News Release: At approximately 5:50 p.m. today, National Park Service (NPS) rangers lead a multi agency search and found the body of a missing Hobart man. His name is being withheld until family notifications have been made.

News Release: Spoilage bacteria that can cause red coloration of pickles' skin during fermentation may actually help clean up dyes in textile industry wastewater, according to a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) study.


News Release: Grand Canyon, AZ - Fire and Aviation staff have completed burning operations on the Buggeln prescribed fire unit, located 11 miles southeast of Grand Canyon Village. 325 acres were treated on this first entry burn. Some heavy smoke was generated in the course of ignition work. Crews will remain on site monitoring the unit as well as securing the containment lines.
