Restoration of Historic 12th Street Fountain Nears Completion

News Release: SULPHUR, OK- Maintenance crews at Chickasaw National Recreation Area are nearly finished with the restoration of the historic fountain wall located near the 12th Street entrance to the park. The wall was damaged last year when a driver failed to negotiate the intersection of 12th Street and Perimeter Road and crashed his car into the historic native brown limestone wall of the fountain. The work is expected to be completed in the next few weeks.
