Women’s Rights National Historical Park Highlights Archeological Finds on August 2

News Release: Seneca Falls, NY - After a summer of research into the archeological finds at Women's Rights NHP, Cultural Resource Diversity Intern Michelle Gauthier knows her historic toothbrushes. Gauthier, a resident of Murfreesboro, TN is studying for her master's degree in history at Middle Tennessee State University. She is one of thirteen students chosen nationwide to work in historical settings through the National Park Service Cultural Resources Diversity Internship Program.

Multiple  Small Columns of Smoke Observed

News Release: Aerial surveillance of the Currant Creek Fire showed reduced fire intensity yesterday, yet there were multiple small columns of smoke observed. The fire continues to burn on the north side of Currant Creek and is expected to consume most of the remaining fuels between the fire and the north edge of Currant Creek within the next couple of days if the current weather pattern persists. Two NPS fire observers remain on site monitoring the fire.
