Florida Couple Sentenced For Roles In Procurement Contract Bribery Scheme

News Release: SALT LAKE CITY - A Florida man was sentenced to serve 15 months in prison, and his wife was sentenced to 24 months of probation, for their roles in a bribery and fraud scheme involving federal procurement contracts, announced Acting Assistant Attorney General Mythili Raman of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney David B. Barlow of the District of Utah.

Shreveport Man Sentenced To 10 Years In Prison For Being A Felon In Possession Of A Firearm

News Release: SHREVEPORT, La. -United States Attorney Stephanie A. Finley announced today that Darrell Rogers Johns, 32, of Shreveport, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Donald E. Walter, to 10 years in prison and three years of supervised release for one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon. Judge Walter also ordered that the firearm and ammunition involved be forfeited. Johns was found guilty on October 9, 2013, after a two-day bench trial.
