News Release: GREAT FALLS - Former Chippewa Cree Tribal Chairman Bruce Sunchild has pleaded guilty today to four felonies involving bribery, embezzlement, and tax evasion, according to the United States Attorney's Office. Sunchild had been charged in three indictments handed down by a federal Grand Jury investigating corruption in Indian Country. Sunchild appeared on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 before U.S. District Judge Brian Morris in Great Falls to enter the guilty pleas.
