Annual Closures at Point Reyes National Seashore for 2015 Harbor Seal Pupping Season

News Release: Annual recreational closures to protect pupping harbor seals at Point Reyes National Seashore go into effect on Sunday, March 1, 2015. The closures are in Drakes Estero and the westernmost point of Limantour Spit, and remain in effect through June 30, 2015. During this most sensitive time of year for the harbor seals, the National Park Service asks park visitors to help ensure a successful pupping season by avoiding disturbing seals.
