News Release: NEW BERN - The United States Attorney’s Office announced that today in federal court, United States District Judge Louise W. Flanagan sentenced AVIN MARSALIS BROWN, 23, of Raleigh and AKBA JIHAD JORDAN, 23, also of Raleigh. BROWN was sentenced to 92 months imprisonment, followed by 5 years of supervised release, and JORDAN was sentenced to 108 months imprisonment, followed by 5 years of supervised release.

Gomez sentenced today Miguel Rodriguez-Ramirez, 45, of Puerto Rico, to 18 months’ imprisonment and three years of supervised release for bribery of a public official, United States Attorney Ronald W.
