Both individuals were alert and ambulatory when taken to a local hospital.

Machine safety guards might have prevented severing of worker's arm

News Release: KENNETT, Mo. - A machine that sizes and cuts rubber hose severed a 52-year-old woman's right arm just nine days after she starting a new job in Kennett as a machine operator at Parker Hannifin Corporation, a global manufacturer in the mobile, industrial and aerospace markets. Search and Rescue Operations Underway at Mount Rainier

News Release: Monday, March 28, 2016 - Operations are underway to extract two patients from Camp Muir, at 10,000’ on Mount Rainier’s south slope. In separate incidents a climbing party of two and a snowshoer were unexpectedly caught out overnight in a winter storm Saturday. The patients, the snowshoer and one member of the climbing party are in stable condition at Camp Muir. The second climber, a 58 year old male from Norway, is believed to be near Gibraltar Ledges.
