Scranton Man And Virginia Man Plead Guilty To Firearms Charge In Connection With Armed Robbery Of Econo Lodge In Scranton

News Release: SCRANTON - The United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania announced today that a Scranton man and a Virginia man pleaded guilty in United States District Court in Scranton on Oct. 18, 2016, before United States District Judge Malachy E. Mannion, to a firearms charge filed in connection with the armed robbery of the Econo Lodge located on Kane Street in Scranton, which occurred on Feb. 13, 2016.


Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Forest Announce Timeframe for  First Joint Interagency Prescribed Burn

News Release: Kings Canyon National Park & Sequoia National Forest, Calif. Oct. 19, 2016 - The USDA Forest Service and the National Park Service are planning to start the Sequoia Creek Prescribed Burn as early as next Monday. This date was selected due to favorable weather and approval by the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District. The burn is located north of Highway 180, between the Big Stump Entrance to Kings Canyon National Park and Wilsonia Village.

Federal Jury Finds Arizona Man Guilty on Marijuana Trafficking Charges in New Mexico
