Owings Mills Man Sentenced To Four Years In Federal Prison For Laundering Money From Victims Of Internet Dating Scam

News Release: Greenbelt, Maryland - U.S. District Judge Paul W. Grimm sentenced Olufemi Wilfred Williams, of Owings Mills, Maryland, to four years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for conspiracy to commit money laundering arising from a scheme to defraud vulnerable victims of millions of dollars. Judge Grimm also ordered Williams to forfeit and pay restitution of more than $375,000. Williams previously pleaded guilty to the charge on Feb. 21, 2017.

News Release: United States Attorney Randolph J. Seiler announced that a Sioux Falls, South Dakota, man convicted of Conspiracy with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance was sentenced on July 31, 2017, by U.S. District Judge Karen E. Schreier.


News Release: PHILADELPHIA - Charles Sampson, 61, of Chester, PA, was sentenced today to 87 months in prison attempting to rob a postal employee with a dangerous weapon at the Chester Post Office post offices. Sampson pleaded guilty on March 6, 2017. In addition to the prison term, U.S. District Court Judge Mitchell S. Goldberg ordered three years of supervised release and a $100 special assessment.
