Texas White House to Temporarily Close in Early November for Preservation Work

News Release: JOHNSON CITY, TEXAS - Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park has announced that the Texas White House on the LBJ Ranch will be closed for public tours for at least four days next month due to a historic preservation project. Beginning on Monday, November 6, and continuing through at least November 9, 2017, the home will be closed so that work can be completed on the living room ceiling. Depending on the rate of progress, the home may be closed even longer.
