Tennessee Resident, Last Defendant Sentenced In Methamphetamine Ring Operating In Barren County, Kentucky

News Release: BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - The last defendants in a methamphetamine conspiracy operating out of Barren County, Kentucky, was sentenced in United States District Court this week, by United States District Judge Greg N. Stivers, to 60 months in prison for the sale of 6.5 kilograms of methamphetamine announced United States Attorney Russell M. Coleman. There is no parole in the federal system.


News Release: ALBUQUERQUE - Joshua Nestle, 26, of Las Cruces, N.M., was sentenced yesterday in federal court to 140 months in prison for his conviction on methamphetamine trafficking charges. Nestle will be on supervised release for four years after completing his prison sentence.


News Release: John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that JOHN G. KOUKOURAS, 40, of Eugene, Oregon, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Janet Bond Arterton in New Haven to 24 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for trafficking marijuana. Judge Arterton also ordered KOUKOURAS to pay a $4,000 fine.

CBP officer indicted, arrested for child pornography

News Release: SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - A U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer charged with advertising, receiving, distributing and possessing child pornography was arrested today at his place of residence in Toa Alta. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), working jointly with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) conducted the investigation that led to the arrest.


Federal Jury Finds Two Men Guilty of Armed Robberies and Carjackings
