News Release: Acting United States Attorney Corey R. Amundson announced today that United States District Court Judge Shelly D. Dick has sentenced JOSHUA FINLEY, 34, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to serve 110 months in federal prison following his conviction for possession of firearms by a convicted felon. FINLEY was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release following imprisonment, forfeit the firearms involved in his crime, and pay a $100 special assessment.

Childs, 26, of Granite City, Illinois, was sentenced for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The Honorable Staci M. Yandle sentenced Childs to 37 months in federal prison, to be followed by two years of supervised release, along with a fine of $250 and a $100 special assessment. Childs also agreed to forfeit the illegal firearm that he possessed.
