Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that KAMIL GOLEBIOWSKI, 26, of Shelton, was arrested yesterday on a federal criminal complaint charging him with various drug offenses related to the illegal distribution of counterfeit drugs. The charges stem from an ongoing statewide initiative targeting narcotics dealers who distribute heroin, fentanyl or opioids that cause death or serious injury to users.

Lydon stated today that Steven Verren Baker, age 38, of Holly Hill, pled guilty to Conspiracy to Smuggle Wildlife, a violation of Title 18, United States Code, § 371. Senior Judge Joseph F. Healogics Agrees To Pay Up To $22.51 Million To Settle False Claims Act Liability For Improper Billing Of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

News Release: Orlando, FL - The Justice Department announced today that Healogics, Inc. has agreed to pay up to $22.51 million to settle allegations that it violated the False Claims Act by knowingly causing wound care centers to bill Medicare for medically unnecessary and unreasonable hyperbaric oxygen (“HBO") therapy. State Correctional Officer Who Illegally Distributed Steroids is Sentenced

News Release: John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that NICHOLAS AURORA JR., 34, of Hamden, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden in Bridgeport to three years of probation, the first six months of which AURORA must serve in home confinement, for illegally distributing steroids. Judge Bolden also ordered AURORA to pay a $2,000 fine and perform 200 hours of community service.
