Camp Verde Man Sentenced to 27 Months in Prison for Burglary of Tribal Entity

News Release: PHOENIX - Earlier this week, Francisco Joseph Doungeva, 44, of Camp Verde, Ariz., was sentenced by United States District Judge Douglas L. Rayes to 27 months in federal prison, followed by one year of supervised release. On Aug. 6, 2018, Doungeva had previously pleaded guilty to one count of burglary.

Pinon Man Sentenced to Prison for Aggravated Assault

News Release: PHOENIX - Yesterday, Paitric Small, 30, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge G. Murray Snow to 32 months’ imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for aggravated assault on the Navajo Nation Indian Reservation. On March 19, 2018, Small assaulted the victim with a machete; they are both members of the Navajo Nation. Small had previously pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon.
