United States and Japan Delegations Agree to Increase Additional Daytime Services at Haneda

News Release: TOKYO- U.S. and Japanese delegations met today in Tokyo to sign an agreement that would increase daytime services between Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and U.S. destinations. The proposed amendment to the U.S.-Japan Open Skies Agreement allocates 12 new slot pairs (12 arrivals and 12 departures daily) for U.S. air carriers and 12 new slot pairs for Japanese air carriers.

Crews Respond to Fire Near Dinosaur National Monument Headquarters

News Release: Dinosaur, Colorado - On Wednesday, Aug. 21, at approximately 2:20 pm, a visitor reported a wildfire directly north of Highway 40, adjacent to the Canyon Visitor Center/Monument Headquarters. As of 8:00 pm, the Dinosaur HQ Fire is estimated to be approximately 160 acres and is moving in an easterly direction. It is burning on both sides of Highway 40 and affecting power lines in the area.
