The Northern District of Indiana’s U.S. Attorney’s Office Collects $6,016,074.83 in Civil and Criminal Actions for U.S. Taxpayers in Fiscal Year 2018

News Release: HAMMOND- U.S. Attorney Thomas L. Kirsch II announced today that the Northern District of Indiana collected $6,016,074.83 in criminal and civil actions in Fiscal Year 2018. Of this amount, $2,974,660.68 was collected in criminal actions and $3,041,414.25 was collected in civil actions. Additionally, the Northern District of Indiana forfeited in excess of $1.3 million dollars in civil and criminal forfeitures.


Guilty plea in fentanyl case

News Release: BUFFALO, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr., and DEA New York Division Special Agent in Charge Ray Donovan announced that Torri McCray, 40, of Buffalo, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute, and distribution of, fentanyl, and 10 grams or more of buytryl fentanyl before U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo. The charges carry a minimum penalty of five years in prison, a maximum of 40 years, and a fine of $5,000,000.
