Sioux Falls Woman Charged with Escape from Custody

News Release: United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that a Sioux Falls, South Dakota, woman has been indicted by a federal grand jury for escape from custody.

Former VA Podiatry Chief and Sacramento CEO Convicted for Health Care Fraud Scheme

News Release: SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A federal jury found Anthony Lazzarino, 68, former Chief of Podiatry for the Veterans Affairs’ (VA) Northern California Health Care System, and Peter Wong, 61, founder and CEO of Sunrise Shoes and Pedorthic Service Corporation, guilty of health care fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, U.S. Attorney McGregor W. Scott announced.

Kelly, 33, Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge William Conley to 54 months in federal prison for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. Kelly pleaded guilty to the charge on March 14, 2019.
