News Release: St. Thomas, USVI - United States Attorney Gretchen C.F. Shappert for the District of the Virgin Islands announced today that Violet Anne Golden, the former chairperson of the Virgin Islands Casino Control Commission, was sentenced to 24 months in prison following an earlier guilty plea to Theft of Government Funds and Failing to File an Income Tax Return. Golden was also ordered to pay restitution.

Denver Man Sentenced To Prison For Gun And Drug Crimes

News Release: DENVER - United States Attorney Jason R. Dunn today announced that Nicholas Meyers, age 26, of Denver, was sentenced to serve 136 months (over 11 years) in federal prison followed by 5 years on supervised release for distribution of methamphetamine and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
