Bridgeport Man Sentenced to More Than 21 Years in Federal Prison for Violent Armed Robberies

Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that JACHIM BROWN, also known as “Ameer Edwards," 29, of Bridgeport, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Kari A. Dooley in Bridgeport to 260 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for committing several violent armed robberies in 2017 during which he shot and wounded two individuals.

Jacksonville Man Arrested and Charged with Attempting to Entice and Meet a 12-Year-Old Child to Engage in Sexual Activity
