Fort Myers Woman Pleads Guilty To Financial Aid Fraud And Wire Fraud

News Release: Fort Myers, Florida - Elaine M. Levidow (60, Fort Myers) has pleaded guilty to five counts of wire fraud and one count of fraud involving Department of Education Financial Aid. She faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in federal prison for each count of wire fraud and up to 5 years’ imprisonment for the financial aid fraud. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

East St. Louis Man Sentenced to 13 Years For Armed Robbery of Marijuana Dealer

News Release: EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. - An East St. Louis man will be spending over a decade behind bars for stealing someone’s marijuana at gunpoint. Tyran Jordan, 21, has been sentenced to 157 months in federal prison on one count of interfering with commerce by robbery and one count of discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence. Jordan pled guilty to the charges back in January.
