News Release: PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A Pawtucket man convicted in Rhode Island state court in 2007 and in 2009 on drug trafficking charges, and found during a traffic stop by Pawtucket Police in October 2020 to be in possession of a loaded semi-automatic pistol with an obliterated serial number, was sentenced today to 60 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm, announced Acting United States Attorney Richard B. Myrus.

Rossiter, Jr. for Possessing with Intent to Distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine. Gonzalez-Gardea received a sentence of 135 months’ imprisonment with a five-year term of supervised release to follow. There is no parole in the federal system.
