News Release: The Office of the United States Attorney for the District of Vermont announced that William Hillard, 51, of Wilder, Vermont was charged by criminal complaint with (1) being a felon in possession of a firearm, and (2) possessing a destructive device. Hillard was arrested on April 13, 2022, in connection with a search of his Wilder, Vermont residence. Hillard’s initial appearance was held on April 14, 2022, and a detention hearing is scheduled for April 15, 2022.
