Walthill Man Sentenced to 70 Months for Assault with a Deadly Weapon

News Release: United States Attorney Jan Sharp announced that Matthew Moniz, Jr., age 33, of Walthill, Nebraska, was sentenced today in federal court in Omaha for assault with a deadly weapon. Senior United States District Judge Joseph F. Bataillon sentenced Moniz to 70 months of imprisonment. There is no parole in the federal system. After completing his term of imprisonment, Moniz will begin a 3-year term of supervised release.
