Release: Washington, D.C., July 25, 2022 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced it is awarding more than $10 million in Farm to School Grants to 123 projects across the country. Additionally, for the first time, the department is empowering states with $60 million in non-competitive grants to develop stronger and sustainable Farm to School programs over the next four years. Both actions will help more kids nationwide eat healthy, homegrown foods.

Collaborative effort shuts down stash house in Laredo


News Release: TAOS, N.M. -The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) welcomes Eric Valencia as the Monument Manager for the Río Grande del Norte National Monument, located within the BLM Taos Field Office. Valencia will oversee 245,290 acres of multiple-use public lands within the monument that spans across Taos and Rio Arriba counties. The Taos Field Office is in the process of developing a Resource Management Plan for the monument and Valencia will assist in coordinating that effort.
