State Department publishes proposed rule on March 8

The US State Department published a two page proposed rule on March 8, according to the U.S. Government Publishing Office.

The proposed rule is focused on Request for Comments Regarding Review of United States Munitions List Categories IV and XV.

The State Department is responsibly for international relations with a budget of more than $50 billion. Tenure at the State Dept. is increasingly tenuous and it's seen as an extension of the President's will, ambitions and flaws.

Notices are required documents detailing rules and regulations being proposed by each federal department. This allows the public to see what issues legislators and federal departments are focusing on.

Any person or organization can comment on the proposed rules. Departments and agencies must then address “significant issues raised in comments and discuss any changes made,” the Federal Register says.
