I ask unanimous consent the Senate proceed to executive session to consider Calendar No. 634; that the nomination be confirmed, the motion to reconsider be laid on the table, the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action, that any statements be printed in the Record, and the Senate return to legislative session.

Francis Joseph Ricciardone, Jr., of New Hampshire, a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service, Class of Minister-Counselor, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of the Phillippines and to serve concurrently and without additional compensation as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Palau.
