When it comes to the strength of our economy, the numbers continue to speak for themselves. Today’s economic data show that prices are well contained, energy prices showed a needed decline, and housing starts remained strong in November. This is in addition to the fact that more Americans are working today than ever before in our history, home ownership is at historically high levels, disposable income is up and our economy continues to grow at a solid clip.
Hard working Americans continue to drive confidence in our economy. In order to keep this momentum going, we need to keep taxes low and reign in federal spending so that businesses can continue to thrive, create jobs and help families.
