Today, Secretary Raimondo met with Estonian Prime Minister, Kaja Kallas ahead of the Tallinn Digital Summit in Tallinn, Estonia. During their meeting, Secretary Raimondo and Prime Minister Kallas discussed the importance of promoting increased commercial partnership and collaboration on emerging technologies and countering unfair non-market economy practices. They also exchanged views on preserving the attractiveness of Estonia’s investment environment and the value of Estonia supporting global efforts to reach a global tax agreement in the OECD. Additionally, the Secretary also highlighted her interest in leveraging the recently established U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council to increase U.S.-EU collaboration and to achieve concrete and meaningful outcomes for our countries’ citizens and companies.
