This poses a risk for individuals with milk allergies who could experience serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume the product.
The affected "Dark Chocolate Nonpareils" were distributed across retail stores nationwide. These products are packaged in clear plastic tubs and can be identified by lot numbers 28202501A, 29202501A, 23202504A, 14202505A, 15202505A, and 03202506A found on the bottom label.
To date, Lipari Foods has not received any reports of illnesses related to this issue. The recall was prompted after Weaver Nut Company informed Lipari Foods about their own recall of "Dark Chocolate Nonpareils" for possible undeclared milk content. It was discovered that these products were packaged without indicating the presence of milk.
