Today, Secretary Gina Raimondo and Deputy Prime Minister of Ireland (Tánaiste) and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment of the Republic of Ireland, Leo Varadkar, discussed opportunities to deepen U.S.-Ireland trade and investment ties and to work together on their shared interests through the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology council, which will be convening on September 29. They also welcomed the contribution of increased Irish investment to support U.S. jobs in recent years.
