Daniel K. Tarullo sworn in as member of the Board of Governors

Daniel K. Tarullo on Wednesday took the oath of office as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. The oath was administered by Chairman Ben S. Bernanke in the Board Room.

Then President-elect Obama announced his intention to nominate Mr. Tarullo on Dec. 18, 2008, and the Senate confirmed him on Jan. 27, 2009. Mr. Tarullo was nominated to an unexpired term ending Jan. 31, 2022.
