The Federal Reserve Board on Thursday announced its approval of the application filed by Trustmark Corporation, Jackson, Mississippi, to merge with BancTrust Financial Group, Inc., Mobile, Alabama, and to acquire BancTrust's subsidiary bank, BankTrust, also in Mobile.
