Federal Reserve Board announces approval of application by PacWest Bancorp

The Federal Reserve Board on Thursday announced its approval of the application under section 3 of the Bank Holding Company Act by PacWest Bancorp, Beverly Hills, California, to acquire CU Bancorp and thereby indirectly acquire California United Bank, both of Los Angeles, California.
