EPA case: "We are pleased with our presentation of the case today. It demonstrated the Justice Department's continued strong commitment to enforcing the nation's Clean Air laws. We believe that the enforcement action taken against TVA was consistently fair, reasonable and in the public interest. We await the court's decision." The federally-owned Tennessee Valley Authority is suing the Environmental Protection Agency to reverse an administrative order to clean its coal-fired power plants under the New Source Review provisions of the Clean Air Act. 02-306
