MEDIA ADVISORY MONDAY, MAY 12, 2003 WWW.USDOJ.GOV AG (202) 514-2008 TDD (202) 514-1888 WASHINGTON, D.C.- Attorney General John Ashcroft will speak at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund’s (NLEOMF) 15th National Candlelight Vigil on Tuesday, May 13, 2003 at 8:15 p.m. EDT. The vigil is held to honor law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty; a total of 377 officers will be honored at this year’s ceremony, including 148 officers killed in the line of duty in 2002.
