The Al-Haramain Foundation, branches of which have engaged in activities on behalf of and in support of Al Qaeda, has been the subject of terrorist financing enforcement actions both in the United States and abroad. United States investigators and prosecutors continue to scrutinize records obtained from a recent search warrant executed on the Al Haramain offices in Medford, Oregon. Along with our partners, the United States will continue to aggressively pursue, through all available means - including regulatory, administrative and criminal law enforcement - the use of charities and non-governmental organizations that serve to support the financing of terrorism. 04-387
