Today, Secretary Gina Raimondo met with Italy’s Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, to discuss the U.S.-Italy commercial relationship. The Secretary expressed her interest in closely coordinating with Italy and using the shared commitments outlined in Trade and Technology Council joint statement as a framework to achieve concrete outcomes for U.S. and Italian businesses and citizens. The Secretary and Minister also discussed collaboration on identifying key issues affecting supply chains and improving their resilience.
