Statement by Director of Communications Matt Chandler on Secretary Napolitano's Upcoming Visit to France

For Immediate Release DHS Press Office Contact: 202-282-8010 “Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Under Secretary for the National Protection and Programs Directorate Rand Beers and Assistant Secretary for International Affairs Alan Bersin will travel to France on Oct 8-9 to meet with counterparts and INTERPOL officials to discuss the Department’s collaboration with international partners on increasing cybersecurity, combating transnational crime, preventing human trafficking, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel. While in France, Secretary Napolitano will also deliver remarks at the National Police Academy. More details on the trip will be released once they are finalized.”
