Statement by Press Secretary Marsha Catron on Secretary Johnson’s Upcoming Trip to Louisiana

For Immediate Release DHS Press Office Contact: 202-282-8010 On March 27, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson will travel to New Orleans to meet with the Transportation Security Officers and Jefferson Parish deputies involved in the attack last week at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and thank them for their prompt and decisive response to stop and apprehend the assailant. Secretary Johnson will also meet with Transportation Security Administration employees to thank them for the work they do every day to keep millions of passengers traveling through our airports safe.
